The representative of the Italian Consulate General in Rijeka for Šibenik-Knin County is Maria Rita Rando Baranović. Under the auspices of the "Italian Institute of Culture in Zagreb" and in cooperation with the City Library, "Juraj Šižgorić" organizes an event called the Month of Italian Film in Šibenik in March and April.
As part of the film evening on Wednesdays in the City Library from March 4, 2015 to March 25, 2015 and from April 1, 2015 to April 22, 2015, starting at 8 p.m., Italian films will be shown newer productions.
We believe that it is very important to promote different cultures, customs and languages in Šibenik, which is why we want to hold this project. In the event, we want to include as many participants as possible from primary and secondary schools and the Šibenik Polytechnic, as well as all social activists to make it better: says organizer Maria Rita Baranović.
